CSE 202: Algorithm Design and Analysis, Spring 2007
Class: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 AM - 10:50 AM, EBU3b 2154
TA: Yatharth Saraf
Email: ysaraf@cs.ucsd.edu
(Please put "CSE 202" in the subject of e-mails)
TA Office Hours: Monday 12-2pm at EBU3b B240A (in the basement of the CSE building)
(In case you cannot make it at that time, please send me an email and we can work out an alternate arrangement. Also, if the present time is inconvenient for many people then the office hours can be shifted to a more convenient time as well.)
There will be TA Office hours on Monday, June 11 (finals week) from 12-1pm. Please stop by.
TA Office hours for the last week of classes will be on Friday, June 8 (12-2pm at EBU3b B240A) instead of Monday, June 4. Since it's closer to the day of the final, it should give us a better opportunity to go through questions you might have.
Additional Resources
-
The Fall 2006 exam can be found here. You may have a look at it for your reference.
-
An example of Hu-Tucker algorithm can be found here.
-
You can find a wide variety of interesting problems in the previous years' Algorithms Comprehensive Exams. Going through these will also help tremendously if you are looking to pass the Comps as part of your degree plan.
- In case you took undergraduate algorithms a while back and feel that you need to refresh some of the concepts, it might be helpful to look at some of the homework problems and solutions from last quarter's CSE 101. In order for it to be really helpful, please do think about the questions first before looking at the solutions.
(Note: These resources are not meant to be representative of the problems you will be asked for this course but just an aid to help your understanding)
Please feel free to drop by during the TA office hours if you wish to discuss problems from among these resources as well.
