CSE 190-A: Projects in Vision & Learning

Winter 2007

 

OVERVIEW

CSE 190A is an undergraduate course for students who wish to engage in research projects and gain experience reading papers in the area of computer vision and machine learning.

Enrollment is by instructor permission only to ensure that students have sufficient background for the course. The application is available here. For the Winter 2007 quarter, the deadline for submitting materials is Friday, November 10, 2006. Enrollment decisions will be made by Monday, November 20, 2006. Applicants are expected to have already taken at least one course in computer vision, artificial intelligence, or a closely related area. Appropriate courses at UCSD include CSE 150, CSE 151, CSE 152, CSE 166, ECE 173, etc.

ADMINISTRATIVE DETAILS

We will meet MWF 4-4:50pm in Center Hall 201. The first meeting will be on Jan. 8, and the final meeting will be on March 16, 2006.
