Course Description:
Computer communication network concepts, techniques, protocols, and architectures, with emphasis on analysis of algorithms and protocols, performance tradeoffs, and design methodologies. Topics will include layering, data link control, routing, flow control, topological design, performance evaluation techniques (measurements, analysis, and simulation).
Prerequisites:
CSE 123A or consent of instructor. (S/U grades permitted.)
