Course Description:
Techniques for speeding up Internet implementations including system restructuring, new algorithms, and hardware innovations. Topics include: models for protocols, systems and hardware; efficiency principles; applying these principles to deriving techniques for efficient implementation of common endnode and router functions.
Prerequisites:
CSE 123A or CSE 222A or consent of instructor
