CSE237A - Introduction to Embedded Computing (New Spring 2004)
Units: 4
Course Description: Embedded system technologies including processors, DSP, memory and software. System interfacing basics, communication strategies, sensors and actuators. Mobile and wireless technology in embedded systems. Using pre-designed hardware and software components. Design case studies in wireless, multimedia, and/or networking domains.
Prerequisites: Basic courses in digital hardware, algorithms and data structures, elementary calculus, and probability; or consent of instructor.
