Applying for a job in academia or industry usually requires submission of different kinds of documents. We have collected some of these materials from previous CSE grads to provide you with a template from which you can to create your own application materials.

Sample Application Materials for Jobs in Academia and Industry

We have also provided a resource, entitled "Getting a Job," edited by CSE Faculty member Fran Berman and Mike Wheeler. This document is a draft chapter for CRA Workshops on Academic Careers for Women in Computer Science, and gives a very detailed overview of the interview process for Computer Science grads pursuing positions in academia. There is also information on applying for jobs in industry. There are many helpful hints, for both female and male grads. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this valuable resource.
