CSE10 - Introduction to Computer Science with C++ (Accelerated Pace)
Units: 4
Course Description: Introduction to programming; basic UNIX commands; the C++ language including arrays and classes; modularity and top-down design; abstract data types; documentation; testing and verification. A faster paced version of CSE 9A-B for student with some previous programming experience.
Format: 3 hours of lecture per week, 7 hours of computer lab and 2 hours outside preparation.
Prerequisites: High school algebra. previous programming experience recommended.
Other restrictions: Students may receive credit for only one of CSE 9B, CSE 10, CSE 11.
Laboratory work: Programming assignments
Offered: Every quarter: Fall, Winter and Spring.
