CSE146 - Introduction to Reliable Hardware
Units: 4
Course Objectives: There is a strong demand on campus at both the undergraduate and graduate level for various facets of computer engineering.
Course Description: Fault models and tests, combinational circuit test generation, fault collapsing, fault simulation, synchronous sequential circuit testing, functional testing, memory testing.
Format: 3 hours of lecturer, 1 hour of discussion, 1 hour of lab, and 7 hours of outside preparation.
Prerequisites: CSE 141 or consent of instructor.
Other restrictions: Majors only.
Offered: One quarter per year.
