I'm currently pursuing a Ph.D degree at the Department of Computer Science at University of California, San Diego. My research advisor is Professor Serge Belongie at the UCSD Computer Vision Lab.

I got my Engineering degree in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science at University of Chile, working with Professor Ricardo Baeza-Yates and co-advised by Professor Nello Cristianini in information retrieval and machine learning.

My research interests are computer vision and machine learning, specially in object recognition and web related problems.
