Research InterestsMy research interest is cryptography. I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at University of California, San Diego. For most of my graduate career, I was a member of the crypto lab in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. My dissertation is entitled "Simultaneously Ensuring Privacy and Authenticity in Digital Communication." See below for more information. Before moving to the area of cryptography, I did work with Professor Keith Marzullo and Dr. Jeremy Sussman on an optimistic wrapper service for CORBA called COPE. The system is part of the Serrano project, an ongoing project in collaboration with University of Texas at Austin. Before moving to UCSD, I worked in the Laboratory of Computer Science at MIT in the Programming Systems Research Group. The project involves exploiting both document content and hyperlink information for document clustering. See our publication for details. DissertationC. Miscellaneous PresentationsNILE: This is the write-up accompanying a talk I gave in a parallel computing class. NILE is a wide-area distributed computing environment built to support an experiment in high energy physics.
PHP: This is a talk I gave in the CSE graduate enrichment seminar on how to use PHP to do server-side scripting for simple tasks.
Brief BioI was born in Bangkok, Thailand. I went to the US in 1992. It was fun living in the States. I lived in New Jersey for a year while attending the Peddie School, a boarding school in Heightstown. Then, I moved to Cambridge, MA for MIT. I was there for 5 years. (Too many winters if you ask me.) Then I moved to San Diego for UC San Diego. Now I'm back in Thailand to work at Thammasat University.
